Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment

Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment

  • This section defines and provides resolutions for common hardware issues for the Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment on the Control Panel, located on the left side of the CMC Z Series Board.

  • Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment Definition: The Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment, on the Control Panel on the left side of the CMC Z Series Board, sets the Low Clamp Pressure setting used by the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob which switches between Standard and Low Clamp Pressure for the SmartClamps™ to protect delicate material.

Usage:

  • The Mat Clamp Low Pressure setting for the Clamp Pressure Adjustment is factory-set and typically does not require adjustment.

  • The Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment sets the Low Clamp Pressure used by the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob, which switches between Standard and Low Clamp Pressure for the SmartClamps™ to protect delicate material.

  • The Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment Regulator Gauge will always display Zero (0) psi until the Clamps are activated and the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob is pulled out.

  • The Mat Clamp Pressure Adjustment Regulator Gauge displays the Clamp Pressure as it is cutting.

  • See Mat Clamp Pressure Knob for details on its function.
