The Air Regulator controls the primary air pressure for the CMC and helps control the pressure for the Blade Depth.
It usually sits at 60-70 psi. It is set at the factory and does not need adjusting.
The Air Regulator is self releasing when the Air Compressor is turned off.
Check the Air Regulator at least once a week for any buildup of moisture or oil.
Connections:
The Air Regulator is connected between the Board and to the Air Compressor.
Troubleshooting:
If the matboard is being pushed aside when you try to cut because the Air Clamps are not inflating:
Make sure that the Air Compressor is on.
When you first turn on your Air Compressor, you may hear air escaping from the Air Regulator.
It will do this until it builds up enough pressure and will seal itself off.
