The Air Regulator controls the primary air pressure for the CMC and helps control the pressure for the Blade Depth. It usually sits at 60-70 psi. It is set at the factory and does not need adjusting. The Air Regulator is self releasing when the Air Compressor is turned off. Check the Air Regulator at least once a week for any buildup of moisture or oil.
Troubleshooting: If the matboard is being pushed aside when you try to cut because the Air Clamps are not inflating: When you first turn on your Air Compressor, you may hear air escaping from the Air Regulator.
