Air Regulator

  • The Air Regulator controls the primary air pressure for the CMC and helps control the pressure for the Blade Depth.

  • It usually sits at 60-70 psi. It is set at the factory and does not need adjusting.

  • The Air Regulator is self releasing when the Air Compressor is turned off.

  • Check the Air Regulator at least once a week for any buildup of moisture or oil.

Connections:

  • The Air Regulator is connected between the Board and to the Air Compressor.

Troubleshooting:

  • If the matboard is being pushed aside when you try to cut because the Air Clamps are not inflating:

    • Make sure that the Air Compressor is on.

  • When you first turn on your Air Compressor, you may hear air escaping from the Air Regulator.

    • It will do this until it builds up enough pressure and will seal itself off.
