The Air Regulator controls the primary air pressure for the CMC and helps control the pressure for the Clamps, Head Plunge, Blade Plunge and Blade Depth. It usually sits at 60-70 psi. The Air Regulator is self releasing when the Air Compressor is turned off. Check the Air Regulator at least once a week for any buildup of moisture or oil.
Troubleshooting: If the matboard is being pushed aside when you try to cut because the Air Clamps are not inflating: When you first turn on your Air Compressor, you may hear air escaping from the Air Regulator.
