If your CMC does not use Air Clamp Rails, see:

Rail Clamp Definition
Air Clamp Rails are the clamping components for the 5000, 8000 and 8500 CMC models and use Air Clamps to hold the matboard in place while cutting.
There is one Air Clamp in the Vertical Rail and two in the Horizontal Rails.
Just before cutting, the Air Clamps will inflate against the matboard to hold it in place while it is cutting.
After cutting, the Air Clamps will deflate so you can remove the matboard.
Connections:
The Air Clamps sit within the Air Clamp Rails of the 5000, 8000 and 8500 CMC models.
The Air Clamp is controlled by the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry and the ECU/Driver Pack signals.
