Magnetic Stop Plate
This section provides definitions, hardware support and troubleshooting for the Magnetic Stop Plate on which the Gantry is squared against before Aligning the Head to ensure precise Horizontal cut placement on CMC Boards that include this feature.
Use the Magnetic Stop Plate to square the Gantry against before Aligning the Head, ensuring precise Horizontal cut placement on CMC Boards that include this feature.
Connections:
The Magnetic Stop Plate is attached to the far left of the bottom Board Rail.
Insert the pin into the designated hole below and tighten the top 3/16” Stop Screw.
CMC 9000: Put the pin in the right hole.
CMC Z: Put the pin in the left hole
CMC Z1: Put the pin in the hole provided.

When Aligning the Head, the starting position of the Gantry/Head is controlled by the Magnetic Stop Plate to ensure that the Head is in the correct position before cutting.
Troubleshooting:
Q: The cuts are suddenly off Horizontally.
Make sure that the Gantry is pushed up firmly against the Magnetic Stop Plate before Aligning the Head.
Q: The cuts are off Horizontally after changing the Gantry.
Make sure you placed the pin of the Magnetic Stop Plate into the correct hole:
CMC 9000: Put the pin in the right hole.
CMC Z: Put the pin in the left hole.
