| Pick up the Head by Holding the “D-Shaped” Upper and Lower Head Plates |
Head Removal | |
Head ECU | Turn off the ECU |
| Click the Reset Motors Button |
Cartridge | Push Blade Cartridge Release Down to Eject the Blade Cartridge |
| Remove the Gantry Cover |
Footblock | Move Head and Gantry to the Right Side of the Board |
Head Grabber Arm | Remove the Two Screws |
Head Assembly Power Cable Strain Relief | Remove the Head Assembly Power Cable |
| Disconnect the Head Power Plug |
| Disconnect the Air Lines by Untwisting the Air Fittings |
| Roll the Head Down and off the Gantry |
Gantry Removal | |
NEVER SKIP AHEAD ON ANY STEP!Disconnect Gantry
| Disconnect Board Cable and Air Lines from the Back of the Gantry |
| Disconnect the Board Cable from the ECU |
Removing the Drive Belt from the Rail | |
Look for Red Dots (only these screws are to be adjusted).
| Loosen Allen Belt Tensioner Screw That’s Located on the Right Bottom Side of the Lower Rail One Turn |
| The Belt Tensioner Springs Should be Visible |
Look for Red Dots (only these screws are to be adjusted).
| Remove the 5/32” Allen Screws and Washers from the Lower Gantry Plate |
| Locate the Belt Tensioner Hole on the End of the Belt Tensioner |
| Place the Screw and Washer We Removed From the Lower Gantry Plate into the Belt Tensioner Hole |
| Tighten the Allen Belt Tensioner Screw |
Drive Belt | Lift Drive Belt End From of the Belt Tensioner Slot |
| Lift Drive Belt End From of the Belt Tensioner Slot |
| Wind up the Drive Belt and Rubberband it |

Remove Stop Plate |
|
| Move the Gantry to the Left to Dislodge the Belt Anchors |
Magnetic Stop Plate | Loosen the Top Stop Screw |
| Lift up and Slide Magnetic Stop Plate to the Left End of the Rail to Remove |
Stop Plate | Remove the Right Front Stop Screw |
| Slide the Alignment Plate to the Left End of the Rail to Remove |
| Remove the Stop Screw |
Slide the Gantry Off of the Board | |
| Roll the Gantry off the Rails on the Left Side of the Board |
Put the Gantry on the Board | |
| The bottom Wheels are Spring-Loaded, the Top Wheels are on a Center-Pivot |
| Move the Top Set of Wheels as Needed for Ease of Installation |
| Both Sets of Wheels are Spring-Loaded |
| Wheels May Need to be Eased Over the Rails |
| Line up the Upper Then Lower Wheels of the Gantry to the Center Channel of the Rails |
| Make Sure that the Drive Belt Lies Within the Channel |
Installing the Stop Plate | |
| Slide in the Alignment Plate From the Left End of the Rail Keeping the Pin Towards You |
| Tighten the Top Screw |
| Slide in the Alignment Plate From the Left End of the Rail so That the Stop Screw is on the Front Right |
| Replace the Stop Screw into the Alignment Plate |
| Replace Stop Screw |
Installing the Drive Belt onto the Rail | |
| Lightly Pull the Coiled Drive Belt Toward the Right on the Upper Rail to Take up the Slack |
| Loosely Lay the Drive Belt Along the Rail Channel |
| Rotate the Toothed Pulley so That the Red Mark is on the Top |
| Line up the Red Mark of the Drive Belt to the Red Mark of the Toothed Pulley |
| Do the Same with the Lower Toothed Pulley and Drive Belt |
| Make Sure That the Drive Belt is not Twisted and That the Teeth are Facing Down |
Replace the Stop Plate |

| Move the Gantry to the Left to Dislodge the Belt Anchors |
Magnetic Stop Plate | Lift Up the Magnetic Stop Plate to Disengage the Pin From the Hole and Slide the Alignment Plate to the Left End |
| Tighten the Stop Screw of the Magnetic Gantry Stop |
Stop Plate | Slide on the Alignment Plate |
| Tighten the Screws for the Stop Plate |
| Tighten the Stop Screw |
Attaching the Drive Belt into the Rail |

| Slide the Screw of the Belt End into the Belt Tensioner Slot |
| It Should Fit Snugly |
| Go Back and Make Sure Red Lines are Still Lined Up |
| Remove the Allen Screws and Washers From the Belt Tensioner |
| Leave the Gantry Where it is |
WARNING: Make sure you do not over loosen this screw. One full turn is usually sufficient. | Loosen One Full Turn Only the Allen Belt Tensioner Screw From the Right Bottom Side of the Lower Rail |
| The Belt Tensioner Should Spring Fully into Place |
| Snugly Tighten the Allen Belt Tensioner Screw From the Right Bottom Side of the Lower Rail |

| Place the Two Allen Screw and Washer into the Holes Provided on the Lower Gantry Plate |
Hook Up the Gantry Air Line and Board Cable Connections | |
Connecting the Board Cable*Carefully align the in-line pins of the Board Cable before applying pressure to plug it in. If forced in incorrectly, the CMC will malfunction.* | |

| Slide the Head Assembly Power Cable Strain Relief Around the Head Power Plug Connection |
| Put the Screws Into the Head Assembly Power Cable Strain Relief, the Head Grabber Arm and into the Head |
| Replace the Gantry Cover |
IMPORTANT: PROCEED TO HEAD WHEEL ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.Footblock | Lift the Head Up so that the Footblock Does not Strike the Side of the Board and Move the Gantry to the Left |
Head Wheel Adjustment | |
WARNING: To avoid damage to the Head, do not loosen the Head Wheel screws without first aligning the Head to the middle of the Board.

| Return Head to the Home Position |
| Reinstall the Blade Cartridge |
