Backing Mats

Backing Mats

  • Two disposable Backing Mats are placed behind the mat being cut to stabilize, pad, and protect the CMC Board.

Usage:

  • Place Two Sheets of standard matboard behind the mat being cut as backing.

  • This stabilizes the mat during cutting and protects the CMC board from scratches and damage.

  • If you are cutting thick matboard such as 8-ply, you can remove one of the backing mats.
