Load New Image: MatDesigner

This feature visualizes the opening with the intended picture.

Click File > Load New Image to open the get image screen.

Alternatively, right-click on an opening and select Load Image.

Under file name, click the [...] button and select desired image.

Click Open.

If necessary, drag crop marks to desired position (displayed as dotted lines with drag spots).

Adjust width/height of image or select DPI of the image (if known).

Click Cancel to cancel the image.

Click OK to add the image.

Opening will now display the image in the opening.

If new image is a different size than the opening, you will receive a prompt.

Click Yes to change opening to match the image size.

Click No to keep opening size and change the image to fit.

NOTE: If the opening is rotated, image is placed as to the opening’s original orientation.

NOTE: If an opening with an image is then grouped, the image is no longer displayed. However, you may place in an image after an opening is grouped.

NOTE: Using extremely large image files will slow down the computer system.
