Editor Tools: MatDesigner

The Tools section on the Editor contains a variety of useful command buttons.

Click Cut Mat to take current design to the cut preview.

The design goes to the cut preview.

Click Center button to center selected object(s) to the mat.

Optionally select several openings.

They will be centered as a group.

Click Undo button to reverse the previous action.

For example, design a mat.

Delete an object.

Click Undo. The object is restored.

Click New Tape Measure button to add a measuring tool that measures horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.

Points turn red if snapped to an object corner, center, or middle edge.

Several tape measures may be used at a time.

Click on a tape measure on the editor work area.

Click on the Properties tab to edit the tape measure.

Point 1 is the top reference point.

Point 2 is the bottom right reference point.

Right-click on the tape measure on the Editor and select one of the following:

Edit Tape Measure: Edit the tape measure.

Remove Tape Measure: Remove the tape measure.

Cut: Cut the tape measure.

Copy: Copy the tape measure.

Paste: Paste the tape measure.

Click Delete button to delete the selected object(s).

OR

Hit delete key on the keyboard to delete selected object(s).

OR

Right-click an object and select delete.
