Add Mixed Template

Templates are specialized parametric shape generators within Wizard's FrameShop software. The Mixed template allows the user to select a different template for each layer.

Select #106 Mixed from template library and place on the work space.

With the Mixed opening selected, click on the Properties tab.

On the reveals tab under # ID, select the desired template number for each layer.

Click and drag template numbers from one layer to another to move them.

Click on the Parameters tab and adjust parameters for each layer as desired.

NOTE: Not all templates are available for this template design.

NOTE: The Fillet is a subcomponent of the #106 Mixed Opening. You can either select #106 Mixed Opening and select #107 Fillet for the 2nd or greater layer, OR select #107 Fillet as an opening which will automatically place it within the #106 Mixed.

NOTE: If you change to a Mixed template from another template, it will attempt to use the new template if allowed, otherwise it will default to #101 Rectangle.

Mixed Opening

Label: Enter a Label for this object if desired.

Change to Template: Click to select a different template from the template library.

Dimensions

Width/Height: Change width/height of opening.

  • Click Sizes to select recent or standard sizes.

  • Click Swap to switch numbers between width/height.

Reveals Tab (Options)

# Layers: Select number of layers.

#ID: Template design # shows template number for the current layer.

Click on the down arrow to access the template library and select a new template.

Click and drag template numbers from one layer to another to move them.

Reveal: Enter reveal amount.

Cartridge Icon: Click on the Cartridge Icon and select the desired Cartridge for this layer.

Default Cartridge is the 45° normal bevel Cartridge. If a Cartridge is not licensed, it will be disabled.

RB: Select RB to make this layer reverse bevel.

Parameters Tab (Options)

Adjust parameters for the current template as desired.
