Click on the work space, not an object.

Click on the Properties tab.

Edit the matboard width/height.

  • Click Sizes to select recent or standard sizes.

  • Click Swap to switch numbers between width/height.

Cut the Outside

Cut the Outside

Click on the work space, not an object.

Click properties tab.

Select Cut the Outside to cut the outside of the mat.

When cutting the outside, borders may be less than 1.5” (3.8cm).

To Not Cut the Outside

Click on the work space, not an object.

Click properties tab.

Unselect Cut the Outside to not cut the outside of the mat.

When not cutting the outside a 1.5” (3.8cm) minimum border between outside and object(s) is required.

The uncuttable region is displayed as a darker area.

Float Layer

Click on the work space, not an object.

Click on the Properties tab.

Select Float Layer to add a bottom mat with no opening.

The Float layer does not cut unless Cut the Outside is selected.

Note: If an opening has six layers, float layer is temporarily disabled until a layer is removed, because there is a maximum of six layers allowed.

Oval Outside

Click on the work space, not an object.

Click on the Properties tab.

Select Cut the Outside.

Select Oval Outside to cut the outside as an oval.

The outside is now cut as an oval.

Layers: Mat Number

Click on the work space, not on an object.

Click on the Properties tab.

Select the desired mat SKU from the dropdown control.

The matboard SKU is displayed.

If the mat selected has a thickness setting provided, the blade depth will be prompted for this layer when cut.

If the mat selected has no thickness setting provided, the default blade depth will be used, and the user will be prompted to select the blade depth for this matboard when cut.

The matboard color will be displayed if provided.

If no matboard color has been provided, the mat will be displayed in the default colors.

Additional Info

Additional Info

Click on the work space, not on an object.

Click on the Properties tab.

Enter any desired notes in the Additional Info pane.

The Additional Notes will display in the cut preview on the Additional Info tab and are saved with the file.
