  • The Vertical Belt sits within the Gantry and controls the motion of the Head to ensure precise control of the Head’s Vertical movement.

    • The Vertical Belt is located behind the Gantry Cover on some models.

Connections:

  • The Gantry moves Horizontally across the Board via the Drive Belt, and the Head moves Vertically along the Gantry via the Vertical Belt.

  • The Head is attached to the Gantry via the Head Grabber Arm which moves vertically on the Gantry via the Vertical Belt.

  • As the Gantry moves horizontally, the Head moves vertically via the Vertical Belt and the Footblock rotates to apply the Cartridge to the matboard.
