Exterior Overcut on Openings: FrameShop Configurations Screen

The Exterior Overcut is where the cut continues into the corner before retracting the blade from the matboard on the exterior cuts, such as when cutting a rectangle. Exterior Cuts cut into the matboard, not the fallout of the opening. | The Exterior Overcut Field Controls Where the Blade Continues into the Corner Before Retracting the Blade on the Exterior Cuts of Non-Oval Openings |
Current Opening Bevel Type | |

Select the desired Cartridge Tab and then the bevel type you want to edit from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control before making adjustments. Select Current Bevel Type-Front of Mat if it is being cut from the front of the mat.

Check against the Configuration Map of the Bevel Type you are cutting to determine specifically which cuts are the Exterior Overcuts. Opening Exterior Overcut Too Long | |

When making adjustments, click either the minus or plus button (-/+) at the end of the desired field about five or six times in the direction indicated. Click OK and do a test cut.
