Blade Depth Dial

Connections:

• The Blade Depth Dial is located on the faceplate of the Head.

Troubleshooting:

• The Blade will no longer cut through the matboard at the standard Blade Depth.

  • Check the Air Compressor and make sure it is on.

  • Check the air lines to make sure they are not kinked.

  • Make sure the current Blade is not broken.

  • Make sure you are using the correct Blade Depth for this material: Measuring Blade Depth Documents.

  • Make sure you are using the correct Blade Cartridge.

  • Make sure the VPO on the Head is not set too low.

  • Reset the Blade Depth Dial: Blade Depth Dial Calibration Documents.

  • Check the Air Clamp Actuator Valve in the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry.

    • The Air Valve Assembly may need to be replaced.

• The Blade cuts too deep at the standard Blade Depth.

  • Make sure you are using the correct Blade Depth for this material: Measuring Blade Depth Documents.

  • Make sure the current Blade has not slipped out of the Blade Cartridge.

  • Make sure you are using the correct Blade Cartridge.

  • Make sure the VPO on the Head is not set too high.

  • Reset the Blade Depth Dial: Blade Depth Dial Calibration Documents.
