Cartridge

  • This section defines the Blade Cartridges and Non-Blade Cartridges used to cut or apply designs to the matboard.

  • Cartridge Definition: The Cartridge, either a Blade Cartridge or Non-Blade Cartridge, is an interchangeable component that is inserted into the Footblock on the Head for direct application to the matboard.

Usage:

  • The Cartridge, either a Blade Cartridge or Non-Blade Cartridge, is an interchangeable component that is inserted into the Footblock on the Head for direct application to the matboard.

    • The Blade Cartridges and Non-Blade Cartridges either cut the mat at various angles or apply a treatment to the surface of the matboard.

  • The Blade Cartridge Release Lever is used to eject the current Blade Cartridge or Non-Blade Cartridge from the Footblock.

  • Make sure that you have the correct Cartridge, that the Blade is installed in the correct orientation, the Blade is not broken, and that the Cartridge is installed correctly into the Footblock.
