  • This section defines and provides resolutions for common hardware issues for the Blade Depth Dial on the Head which controls the cutting depth when using a Blade Cartridge or applying a Non-Blade Cartridge.

  • Blade Depth Dial Definition: The Blade Depth Dial on the Head controls the cutting depth when using a Blade Cartridge or applying a Non-Blade Cartridge on the CMC models equipped with this feature.

Usage:

  • The Blade Depth Dial controls how deep the Blade Cartridge or Non-Blade Cartridge is applied to the matboard for CMC models equipped with this feature.

    • Smaller numbers are Shallower cuts.

    • Larger numbers are Deeper cuts.

    • The Z1 does not have a Blade Depth Dial and depends solely on the software for the Blade Depth Setting.

Blade Depth Dial Connections and Controls:

  • The Blade Depth Dial is positioned on the faceplate of the Head on the CMC models equipped with this feature.

    • The Z1 does not have a Blade Depth Dial and depends solely on the software for the Blade Depth Setting.

  • Behind the Blade Depth Dial within the Head is a Head Retainer Ring.

  • The Blade Depth Dial is controlled by inner mechanics.

    • There are no customer serviceable parts inside the Head; do not disassemble the Head.
