Blade Depth: Hardware

  • If the current Layer uses a different Blade Cartridge or is a different Mat Thickness than the last layer cut, the user will be prompted to change the Cartridge and/or the Blade Depth. 

  • On the CMC Z1, setting the Blade Depth in the software will automatically set the Blade Depth in the hardware.

  • The Z1 will automatically adjust the physical Blade Depth of the CMC to this value when you click Continue.

  • Click Continue to cut.

Change Cartridge and/or Blade Depth

  • Turn the Blade Depth knob on the Head to the requested Blade Depth. The software Blade Depth and the hardware Blade Depth value should match.

  • Click Continue to cut.
