Main Screen

The FrameShop Main Screen contains links for the different utilities and programs within the FrameShop software.

Main Screen Menu Selections 

Select this topic to see information on the Menu Selections for the main screen which contain many useful commands.

Webstore

Click the Webstore icon to open the Wizard Webstore where you can purchase supplies and check out our other products. 

Context Sensitive Help 

Select this topic to see information on using the Context Sensitive Help Cursor to find specific on-line help pages by clicking on the desired buttons and fields within the software.

Design 

Select this topic to see information on the FrameShop Design component which contains all of the editing tools to fully compose your mat design project from beginning to end.

New Mat Design 

Select this topic to see information on creating a New Mat Design with the FrameShop Design New Openings Screen.

Trace 

Select this topic to see information on the Trace Manual where you can edit all components of a design, vectorize from an image, or even create free-form designs.

Nesting

Select this topic to see information on Nesting smaller openings into the fall-outs of larger ones to maximize matboard usage.

Box Designs

Select this topic to see information on creating a custom Box with only a few clicks.

Visualize

Select this topic to see information on using the FrameShop Visualization to create a digitally finished product using the selected frames, matboards and the artwork, making it easy to present several different variations for the customer to pick from.

Take Picture 

Select this topic to see information on Taking a Photo within the Visualization software.

Load File Image

Select this topic to see information on loading a Saved Image File from the server to use within the Visualization software.

Browse 

Select this topic to see information on Browsing the server to load saved designs, Content, or Recent cuts. 

Saved Designs 

Select this topic to see information on retrieving Saved Designs.

Content 

Select this topic to see information on Content.

Recent Cuts 

Select this topic to see information on the Recent Cuts list which allows you to load a recently cut mat.

Customer ID and System ID

Select this topic to see the License screen which displays your Customer ID and System ID. Optionally, click on the Customer ID or System ID link on the main screen to go to the License screen.

License 

Select this topic to see information on the License screen which displays information about your account and the type of license your system is using. You can also click on the License link on the main screen to view the License screen.

Service Plan 

Select this topic to see the License Screen for information on the Service Plan you are currently signed up for. 

You can also click on the Service Plan link on the main screen to go to our website to view more information about the different Service Plans offered. You can sign up for a service plan from our Webstore.

Unit of Measure 

Select this topic to see information on the current Unit of Measure. You can also click on the Unit of Measure link on the main screen to select a different Unit of Measure from the Application Defaults.

Version 

Select this topic to see information on the current software Version you are running, and how to check to see if a software update is available. 

CMC Model Type

The CMC Model Type is displayed on the Main Screen and also on the License Screen. If you are running a Demo version of software, this field will say None.

Click to Connect or Could not connect to ECU

Select this topic to see information on what to do if the software does not see the ECU and gives a Click to Connect or a Could not connect to ECU message.

Firmware Version 

The firmware version of the ECU is displayed here. You may be asked for this version number if you call in for assistance for your ECU (Electrical Control Unit).

Update Available 

Select this topic to see information on Updating the Software when an update is available.

Admin 

Select this topic to see information on the Admin section which allows you to set up the defaults for the different sections of the software.

Application Defaults

Select this topic to see information on the Application Defaults section which allows you to set up the defaults for the software.

Configurations 

Select this topic to see information on the Configurations screen which is used to adjust how the CMC cuts or applies the non-bladed cartridges.

Products

Select this topic to see information on downloading the vendor's Products.

Customers

Select this topic to see information on entering and maintaining the Customer records.
