Inside Oval Rotation (V-Groove): FrameShop Configurations Screen

V-Groove Inside Oval Rotation

V-Groove Inside Oval Rotation

Adjust the Inside Oval Rotation if you are getting Bumps or Feathers between where the blade plunges in and where it retracts from the V-Groove fallout on an oval V-Groove.

The Inside Oval Rotation field in the V-Groove configuration controls how much the foot block will rotate before cutting.

The inside cuts of the V-Groove are interior cuts, and cut into the fallout and not the matboard. They cut on the first pass of the V-Groove, and are cut in a clockwise direction.

If you have too little Inside Oval Rotation on an oval V-Groove, you will get a Bump, too much rotation and you will get a Feather.
