Outside Oval Rotation (V-Groove): FrameShop Configurations Screen
V-Groove Outside Oval Rotation | |
---|---|
Adjust the Outside Oval Rotation if you are getting Bumps or Feathers between where the blade plunges in and where it retracts from the matboard on an oval V-Groove. The Outside Oval Rotation field in the V-Groove configuration controls how much the foot block will rotate before cutting. The outside cuts of the V-Groove are exterior cuts, and cut into the matboard and not the V-Groove fallout. They cut on the second pass of the V-Groove, and are cut in a counterclockwise direction. If you have too much Outside Oval Rotation on an oval V-Groove, you will get a Bump, too little rotation and you will get a Feather. | Outside Oval Rotation Adjusts for Feather or Bumps in the Outside Cut of Oval V-Grooves |
