V-Groove Inside Rotation

V-Groove Inside Rotation

Adjust the Inside Rotation if you are getting Swoops or Flares in the corners of a non-oval V-Groove.

The Inside Rotation controls how much the foot block will rotate before cutting the outside of the V-Groove.

The inside cuts of the V-Groove are Interior cuts, and cut into the V-Groove fallout and not the matboard. They cut on the first pass of the V-Groove, and are cut in a clockwise direction.

If you have too little Inside Rotation on a non-oval V-Groove you will get a Swoop, too much rotation and you will get a Flare.
