Exterior Backup on the Outside: FrameShop Configurations Screen

The Exterior Backup is where the blade backs up before initially plunging into the matboard on the exterior cuts, such as when cutting a rectangle. Current Outside Bevel Type | |

Select the desired Cartridge Tab and then the bevel type you want to edit from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control before making adjustments. Select Current Bevel Type-Front of Mat if it is being cut from the front of the mat.

Check against the Configuration Map of the Bevel Type you are cutting to determine specifically which cuts are the Exterior Backups. Outside Exterior Backup Too Long | |

When making adjustments, click either the minus or plus button (-/+) at the end of the desired field about five or six times in the direction indicated. Click OK and do a test cut.
