How to Create an Inset Opening Design

  • These instructions will show you how to Merge openings together to create a simple inset opening design.

The Finished Inset Opening Design

  • Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

  • Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

  • Click on the Properties Tab and enter the outside dimensions.

  • Click on the Openings Tab and bring over two openings that will be the inset openings.

Bring Over the Inset Openings

  • Now we will build up the Guides for the main opening.

  • Right-Click on one of the openings and select New Guide From Other.
