Polygon Opening and Polygon Outside Using the #506: Star Template

This will walk you through making a Polygon with the same Polygon shape for the Outside using the #506: Star Template with any number of sides.

• These instructions will work with most of the Templates.

Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

On the Openings Tab, bring the template #506: Star template onto the Editor.

Click on the Properties Tab to edit it.

Enter the desired size for the #506: Star opening.

Click on the Parameters tab.

Under No. of Points put the desired number of points for this Polygon design.

• 3 - Triangle

• 4 - Quadrilateral

• 5 - Pentagon

• 6 - Hexagon

• 7 - Heptagon

• 8 - Octagon

• 9 - Nonagon

• 10 - Decagon

• Etc…

For this example, we will use 7 points.

Under Spikiness, put 0.

Now there is no Spikiness and the lines are flat between the points.
