#301: Archway Top/Bottom

These instructions will show you how to Merge two #301: Archway openings together to create a single design.

Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

On the Openings Tab, bring two template #301: Archways onto the Editor.

Click on the Properties Tab to edit it.

Enter the desired size for the #301: Archway openings.

• Remember that we are going to merge the two halves together so keep that in mind when sizing the design.

Click on the Bottom #301: Archway opening.

In the Rotation field, enter 180 for the degree of Rotation.

The #301: Archway will be rotated upside down.

Move the #301: Archway into the desired position, overlapping the edges to the other #301: Archway.

Make sure that both layers of the designs overlap.

• If needed, go back and adjust the size of the openings and try overlapping again.

Select both openings and click the Group Selection button.

The two openings should merge where they overlapped.

If you need to make an adjustment to the design, click the Group Selection button to unmerge them, then click on the background to unselect them.

Re-edit as desired and then regroup them again.

The edited #301: Archway is now completed.

NOTE: You can repeat this process to merge any two templates together in any configuration as long as they share the same Bevel Type.
