Troubleshooting: The Clamps are not engaging: Check the Air Compressor and make sure it is on. Check the Air Lines to make sure they are not kinked. For the Z Series, make sure the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob on the Control Panel is not set to the low setting. Check the ECU connections into the back of the Control Panel, Gantry and the Computer and make sure they are plugged in tight. Turn off the ECU and close the software. Turn on the ECU and restart the software. Check the Clamp Test Button on the Actuator Valve in the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry.
The Head is not Lifting/Lowering to the Board: Check the Air Compressor and make sure it is on. Check the Air Lines to make sure they are not kinked. Check the ECU connections into the back of the Control Panel, Gantry and the Computer and make sure they are plugged in tight. Turn off the ECU and close the software. Turn on the ECU and restart the software. For the Z Series, make sure that the pressure for the Variable Pressure Optimization on the Head has not been turned down too far. Check the Head Lift on the Actuator Valve in the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry.
The Blade Cartridge is not Plunging: Check the Air Compressor and make sure it is on. Check the Air Lines to make sure they are not kinked. Check the ECU connections into the back of the Control Panel, Gantry and the Computer and make sure they are plugged in tight. Turn off the ECU and close the software. Turn on the ECU and restart the software. For the Z Series, make sure that the pressure for the Variable Pressure Optimization on the Head has not been turned down too far. Check the Blade Cartridge Plunge Actuator Valve in the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry.
