  • This section defines and provides resolutions for common hardware issues for the Air Valve Assembly located at the top of the Gantry.

  • Air Valve Definition: The Air Valve Assembly controls the mechanical functions of the Clamps Activation, Head Lift and the Blade Cartridge Plunge, and is located at the top of the Gantry under the Gantry Cover.

Usage:

  • The Air Valve Assembly on the Gantry controls the mechanical functions of the:

    • Clamps Activation

    • Head Lift

    • Blade Cartridge Plunge

  • Test buttons on the Actuator Valve of the Air Valve Assembly in the Gantry verify the mechanical functions of:

    • Clamps Activation

    • Head Lift

    • Blade Cartridge Plunge
