Guides Properties: FrameShop Design Editor

Use the Guides Properties to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the Guide Lines.

Click on a red Guide line and click on the Properties Tab.

Optionally, Right-Click on the Guide Line(s) and select Edit Guide to open the Guides Properties. 

The Guides properties to the layers display the location and direction of guidelines.

Applying the Guide to the Top Layer

Click the Positioning Toggle to Top.

Place the Guide by right-clicking and selecting the Guide direction and distance.

The Guide will be placed in reference to the top layer.

Applying the Guide to the Bottom Layer

Click the Positioning Toggle to Bottom.

Place the Guide by right-clicking and selecting the Guide direction and distance.

The Guide will be placed in reference to the bottom layer.

Direction

Direction displays the direction of the Guide.

It will display either Vertical or Horizontal.             

Position                          
The Guide Position edit boxes display the distance from the Guide to the edge of the design. 

The fields are dependent upon whether the Guide is Horizontal or Vertical.

Horizontal Guide                

Horizontal Guides display the distance From Bottom and From Top edge of the design.

Vertical Guide                          

Vertical Guides display the direction From Left and From Right edge of the design.

Swap Position

The Swap Position button switches the values between the Bottom/Top or Left/Right fields. 

For example, if the vertical guide was located 2 inches from the left edge, the Swap Position button will move the Guide so it is 2 inches from the right edge.

To remove a Guide, click and hold on the Guide and drag it off of the design, past the rulers around the edges. The cursor turns into a Hand as you move the Guide.

Optionally, Right-Click on the Guide line and select Remove Guide(s) from the popup menu.
