45 Degree Front Reverse Bevel Open V-Groove

The 45° Front Reverse Bevel Open V-Groove involves two symmetrical cuts from the front: one in the fallout and a corresponding cut in the matboard, both forming a mirrored arrangement a specified distance apart. The matboard core is not visible but the lower layer matboard is visible from the front.

The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.

The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within Designer.

First Cut: Cuts the Interior cut into the Fallout Clockwise: Reverse Bevel Drop.

Second Cut: Cuts the Exterior cut into the Matboard Counter-Clockwise: Reverse Bevel Opening.

Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the interior cut configuration.

Select Reverse Bevel or Reverse Bevel-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the exterior cut configuration.

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
