45 Degree Front Normal Bevel Drop

  • The 45° Front Normal Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the front of the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°, thereby slanting the bevel away from the fallout surface, displaying the matboard core from the front.

    • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

    • The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.

    • However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.

  • The Copper 45° Front Blade Cartridge is labeled “45°” with a 45° Angle Symbol and a Triangle Symbol on the Cartridge end.

  • The 45° Front Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by setting Cut From Front on the Cut Preview.

  • Select Normal Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.
