The 45°+ Reverse Bevel Open V-Groove involves two symmetrical cuts: one in the fallout and a corresponding cut in the matboard, both forming a mirrored arrangement a specified distance apart in thicker matboard. The matboard core is not visible but the lower layer matboard surface is visible from the front. The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut. First Cut: Cuts the Interior cut into the Fallout Clockwise: Reverse Bevel Drop. Second Cut: Cuts the Exterior cut into the Matboard Counter-Clockwise: Reverse Bevel Opening. The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.
The Black 45°+ Blade Cartridge is labeled with a 45° Angle Symbol and Plus Symbol on the Cartridge end. The 45°+ Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by using a Blade Depth above 16 on the Cut Preview. Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the interior cut. Select Reverse Bevel or Reverse Bevel-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the exterior cut.
