The 45°+ Reverse Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the thicker fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface, hiding the matboard core from the front. The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut. The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.
The Black 45°+ Blade Cartridge is labeled with a 45° Angle Symbol and Plus Symbol on the Cartridge end. The 45°+ Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by using a Blade Depth above 16 on the Cut Preview. Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.
