45 Degree Plus Reverse Bevel Drop

45 Degree Plus Reverse Bevel Drop

  • The 45°+ Reverse Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the thicker fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface, hiding the matboard core from the front.

    • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

    • The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.

    • However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.

  • The Black 45°+ Blade Cartridge is labeled with a 45° Angle Symbol and Plus Symbol on the Cartridge end.

  • The 45°+ Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by using a Blade Depth above 16 on the Cut Preview.

  • Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.
