Rotate Tool

The Rotate button will pivot the object around the center axis point the specified number of degrees.

Click on the desired object. 

Select the desired direction of rotation from the Rotate dropdown control.

  • Minus rotates clockwise

  • Plus rotates counter-clockwise

Enter the number of degrees to rotate the object in the Rotation field.

Click the Rotate button. 

The object will be rotated in the direction and the number of degrees specified.

Select the desired group of objects.

Select the desired direction of rotation from the Rotate dropdown control.

  • Minus rotates clockwise

  • Plus rotates counter-clockwise

Enter the number of degrees to rotate the object in the Rotation field.

Click the Rotate button.

The objects will be rotated in the direction and the number of degrees specified, locked as a group.

Select a single object.

Move the cursor to the edge of the object until you get the cursor drag icon, which is four arrows.

Hold the Alt key and click the edge of the object and drag the mouse to rotate the object around its center point.

  • Move cursor up to rotate Clockwise.

  • Move cursor down to rotate Counter-clockwise.

The degrees of rotation is displayed.

Release the mouse to place the object.
