Selecting the 45 Degree Front Cartridge Outside Cut: CMC Z Series

Have the 45° Front Blade Cartridge toggled on in the Defaults.

Bring the project to the Cut Preview screen.

Click Set Advanced Options to access the Advanced Outside Options. 

Toggle the Cut Outside Using 90 Degree Tool to Off from the Advanced Outside Options screen.

Click OK.   

• Settings not applicable in the current scenario are grayed out.

This will use the 45° Front cartridge or the standard 45° Cartridge when cutting the outside, depending upon whether you are cutting from the front or the back.  

Select the Outside Cut Option to On to cut the outside of the mat. 

To use the 45° Front Cartridge, select the Cut From Front toggle on the Cut Preview.

Click Cut and Align the Head if prompted.

Insert the 45° Front blade cartridge when prompted.
