Shared Edge Cut Mode: FrameShop Cut Preview Screen

Shared Edge Cut Mode

Shared Edge Cut Mode

Select Shared Edge from the Cut Mode dropdown control to cut the shared edges of the outside cuts as a single cut on the CMC Z1 and Z (9000z).

Click the Set Advanced Options button to access the Advanced Outside Options.

Select Shared Edge from the Cut Mode dropdown control to cut the shared edges of the outside cuts in one stroke.

Note that the Cut Pattern will default to Stairstep when Shared Edge is selected.

If cutting a single design, it will cut only the top and right lines of the outside cut, thus not wasting any matboard since the CMC Z1 and Z (9000z) can cut right to the edges.

If cutting a tiled mat, this will cut the outside shared lines between the designs as a single cut, rather than cutting each design's outside edge individually.

When Tiling, make sure that Spacing under the Setup Tab is set to zero (0) so that it shares the outside cut line with the next design, and only cuts the one line between them.

The shared outside edges of the tiled design will cut in one stroke between the designs.

If you have Remnant Trimming on, it will also cut off the scrap edge.
