Load an Image File to Draw

Open Trace.

Click on the Vectorize tab.  

Click the Load File Image button.

Select the desired image.

Click the Open button to place the image on the background.

Enter the desired Size of the Image width/height under Design Bounds.

If you are loading an Image to Draw/Vectorize, it is recommended that you adjust the Design Bounds of the Image before Drawing Over It or Vectorizing It.

Draw over/around the image or Vectorize it as desired.
