Change to the Vinyl Cartridge

Make sure the Head is currently in the Aligned position.

Push the Blade Cartridge Release Lever to eject the current Cartridge.

Turn Vinyl cartridge over and insert into the Footblock with the Notch on the back of the Cartridge facing the Head, until it clicks into place.

• It can only be inserted one way.

The Blade Depth Knob on the Head fine-tunes the Blade Depth. 

Start with a Blade Depth of 7-10* and do a test cut to find the optimum Blade Depth for this Vinyl material.

• The Z1 CMC will be automatically set at a Blade Depth of 10.
