Creating a Vinyl Template Shape

  • These instructions show how to change a Vinyl element into a Template shape. 

  • Templates are specialized parametric shape generators within Wizard's FrameShop software.

  • If you want to use the Vinyl for a template shape, you would need to create a Vinyl opening and then select the template shape for it in the Vinyl Properties screen.

Click on the Template Number and Name to Change the Template Shape of the Vinyl

Select Vinyl for the Cartridge

  • The Vinyl is placed.

The Vinyl Object is Placed

  • Click on the Properties tab to edit the Vinyl element.

Click Properties to Edit the Vinyl Object

Template Number and Name

  • The Template Number and Name button displays the template number and name of the selected Vinyl shape.

Click on the Template Number and Name to Change the Template Shape of the Vinyl

  • Click the Template Number and Name button.

  • The Template Library will open.

  • Select a different template SHAPE for the Vinyl. Templates not available for this function are not displayed.  

  • The Vinyl element will be changed to a template shape.

Select the Desired Template Shape for the Vinyl
