45 Degree Normal Bevel Closed V-Groove

  • A 45° Normal Bevel Closed V-Groove involves two symmetrical cuts: one in the matboard and a corresponding cut in the fallout, both forming a mirrored arrangement.

  • The matboard is cut halfway through its thickness, revealing the core from the front.

  • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

  • The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.

First Cut: Cuts the Interior cut into the Fallout Clockwise.

Second Cut: Cuts the Exterior cut into the Matboard Counter-Clockwise.

Select V-Groove from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
