Breaking an Object in a Specific Spot: Trace

The Split button will divide the object along the drawn axis line.

• This is similar to drawing a line and using the Break button to break the selected objects where they intersect one another.

Click on the desired object(s).

Click the Split button. 

Click and drag the axis line where you want the object to be split.

The object will be split along this axis line.
