Join: Edit Section: Trace

The Join button will connect the selected segments together as one object in Trace. 

• In comparison, the Auto Join Segments button will automatically join all adjacent segments in the design together in Trace.

Hold down the CTRL key and select at least two adjoining segments.

• They will turn white.

Click on each segment in their sequence order. 

Click the Join button.

The segments will be connected together.

Click the Close button to close the remaining open segment. 

• The object is now an Enclosed entity that can be traced and cut as an opening.
