Remnant Trimming: Auto: Remnant Trimming Advanced Options

Set Remnant Trimming to Auto to let the software determine the best direction to cut off the Remnant.

Click the Set Advanced Options button on the Cut Preview to access the Advanced Outside Options. 

Set Remnant Trimming to Auto to let the software determine the optimal direction to cut off the Remnant.

The software will automatically determine the Optimal direction to cut off the Remnant matboard by selecting either Vertically or Horizontally depending upon the design.
