Dynamic Outsides

  • Dynamic Outsides adds the border to the current group of openings, adjusting the outside size as necessary.

  • The Dynamic Outsides Toggle appears bright when toggled on. 

  • The Borders Properties indicate whether the borders are added to the top layer or the bottom layer when creating the new outside dimension.

The Dynamic Outsides feature adds the Border Size to the Bounding Rectangle of the current Group of Openings, adjusting the Outside Size as necessary in Designer and Visualize.

The Border is the area of precisely definable width between the outside edge of a Mat and the edge of the Opening(s) in Designer, Nesting, and Visualization.

  • Click the Dynamic Outsides Toggle On.

  • Drag a new opening to the edge of the mat.

  • The outside size of the mat will readjust by adding the borders size around the Bounding Rectangle of the existing openings.
