Show Start Points: Trace

Select the Options > Show Start Points feature to show the initial blade plunge and cut direction of traced objects on the Set Bevels and the Order Cuts Tabs.

The Start Points are displayed as blue triangle arrows pointing to the cut direction.

Select Options > Show Start Points Selected.

Have the traced design on the screen.

Click on the Set Bevels or Order Cuts Tab. 

This design displays that the initial blade plunge is at the bottom of the heart and that it will cut in a clockwise direction.
