Creating a Pen Template Shape

  • If you want to use the Pen for a template shape, you would need to create a Pen opening and then select the template shape for it in the Pen Properties screen.

Templates are specialized parametric shape generators created by Wizard.

Many of the templates have additional Properties that can be edited which can change the shape, curves and corners of the design as well as a wide assortment of Parameters.

The Template Library displays the different templates that are available for use.

Creating a Pen Element

  • The Pen cartridge presses a pen onto the surface of the matboard to create the design.  

  • Click the Add Decorative Line button on the Openings tab.

  • Click on the desired Pen Cartridge Color.

  • If an object is selected when clicking Add Pen, the Pen Offset window will open. 

  • Enter the distance away from the current opening to place the Pen.
