Creating a Pen Template Shape

If you want to use the Pen for a template shape, you would need to create a Pen opening and then select the template shape for it in the Pen PropertiesPen Properties: FrameShop Design Editorscreen.

Creating a Pen Element
The Pen cartridge presses a pen onto the surface of the matboard to create the design. Click the Add Decorative Line button on the Openings tab. Click on the desired Pen Cartridge Color.	Click Add Decorative Line and Select the Desired Pen Cartridge
If an object is selected when clicking Add Pen, the Pen Offset window will open. Enter the distance away from the current opening to place the Pen.	If an Object is Previously Selected, the Pen Offset Window Will Open Allowing you to Offset the Pen from the Opening

Editing Pen Template Shape
Click on the Properties tab to edit the Pen element.	Click the Properties Tab to Edit the Deboss Properties
Template Number and Name The Template Number and Name button displays the template number and name of the selected Pen shape.	Click on the Template Number and Name to Change the Template Shape of the Pen
Click the Template Number and Name button. The Template Library will open. Select a different template SHAPE for the Pen. Templates not available for this function are not displayed. The Pen element will be changed to a template shape.	Select the Desired Template Shape for the Pen
