Rotation on Non-Oval V-Grooves

Rotation on Non-Oval V-Grooves

  • Because this is a V-Groove, you will be using either the Outside Rotation or the Inside Rotation, based on which V-Groove line you are editing.

  • If the Outside cut of the V-Groove has a Swoop, Decrease the Outside Rotation.

  • If the Outside cut of the V-Groove has a Flare, Increase the Outside Rotation.

  • If the Inside cut of the V-Groove has a Swoop, Increase the Inside Rotation.

  • If the Inside cut of the V-Groove has a Flare, Decrease the Inside Rotation.

Select desired Cartridge Tab. 

Select the desired Bevel Type from Current Bevel Type.

Edit the desired Configuration field.

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
