Vertical Belt Definition

  • The Head is attached to the Gantry via the Head Grabber Arm which moves vertically on the Gantry via the Vertical Belt.

  • The Head Wheels are spring-loaded and roll along the grooves in the Gantry.

  • The Vertical Belt is behind the Gantry Cover in some models.

Connections:

  • The Gantry is a spanning framework which attaches to the top and bottom of the Board and moves horizontally across it.

  • As the Gantry moves horizontally, the Head moves vertically via the Vertical Belt and the Footblock rotates to apply the Cartridge to the matboard.
