No Power Available to the ECU/Driver Pack: All Current CMC Models

  • This topic demonstrates troubleshooting steps for when the ECU or Driver Pack displays a No Power Available to the ECU/Driver Pack error or a similar message.

Reset the ECU/Driver Pack:

  • Click to Cut or Align the Head.

    • A message will display that it cannot connect to or locate the ECU/Driver Pack.

No Power Available to the ECU/Driver Pack Prompt

  • There may be several other messages conveying the same meaning.

Could Not Connect to ECU/Driver Pack Prompt

  • Power Off the ECU/Driver Pack by flipping the toggle in the back.

    • Close the FrameShop software.

    • Shut down the Computer.

  • Unplug the USB Cable from the back of the ECU/Driver Pack.

  • Replug the USB Cable into the back of the ECU/Driver Pack.

Replug in the USB Cable

  • Power On the ECU/Driver Pack by flipping the toggle in the back.

    • Check the ECU/Driver Pack connections into the back of the Emergency Stop Button/Control Panel, Gantry and the Computer and make sure they are plugged in tight.

    • Turn on the Computer.

    • Open the FrameShop software.

  • For Additional Information: If it still does not work, you may need to reinstall the Drivers, especially if this happens after a Windows update.
