ECU Turning Off and On Specifics: All Current CMC Models

ECU Turning Off and On Specifics: All Current CMC Models

  • Normally, the ECU should remain powered on while the Wizard software is running.

  • The CMC motors are synchronized with the software and may lose their position if the ECU is powered down during operation.

  • If the ECU is powered off unexpectedly, reboot the ECU and restart the software to resynchronize the motors.

  • The software will resynchronize the motor position for the next cut when you Align the Head again.

  • The best practice is to shut down the Computer and ECU at the end of each day.

  • If you suddenly experience any strange issues with the mat cutter, Power Down and Restart both the ECU and Computer, making sure to turn on the ECU first.
