Air Clamp Temporary Fix: CMC Models with Air Clamp Rails

Customer has a blown an Air Clamp on their 5000, 8000 or 8500 and is waiting for the replacement to arrive.

This temporary fix will keep the machine running until the replacement arrives.

Determine if it is the Horizontal Clamp or the Vertical Clamp that has blown.

If necessary, run a large mat without the Blade in the Blade Cartridge (Blade Cartridge must still be inserted in Head) and listen for air escaping.

Turn off the air supply.

Move the Gantry to the right until it moves no further.

Determine which Clamp is leaking and remove the appropriate Clamp mounting screws with an Allen wrench.
