Could Not Find Compatible Hardware
This demonstrates troubleshooting steps for when the ECU or Driver Pack displays a Could not find compatible hardware or Could not connect to ECU/Driver Pack error or a similar message.
Could Not Find Compatible Hardware
Normally, the ECU should be turned on before the FrameShop/MatDesigner software is started so that the software can connect to the hardware when it starts up.
If the software cannot see the hardware, you will see a “Could Not Find Compatible Hardware” or similar message.
Power off the ECU/Driver Pack by flipping the toggle in the back.
Close the FrameShop software.
Shut down the Computer.
Unplug the USB cable from the back of the ECU/Driver Pack.
Replug the USB cable into the back of the ECU/Driver Pack.
Power on the ECU/Driver Pack by flipping the toggle in the back.
Turn on the Computer.
Open the FrameShop software.
If that does not reconnect the ECU/Driver Pack to the software, see Click to Connect.
