Inverted Corner Design Using the #112: Ornamental or the #106: Mixed

  • These instructions will show you how to create an Inverted Corner Design.

  • This design gives the appearance that the corners of each layer have folded inside-out into the design.

  • Traditionally, a design like this would require a specialized Template or editing it in Trace.

  • Now with the introduction of the #112: Ornamental template and the existing #106: Mixed template, you can now make this with a few simple clicks.

Enter the Number of Desired Layers
  • We’re going to select the desired Template for each layer.

  • Select #604 Taos Top for each layer.

  • Adding the same Template to each layer is different than just selecting that Template and making it 5 layers.

    • Selecting the #605 Taos Top and making it 5 layers will simply Offset the next layer from the first layer, rather than stacking the layers on top of each other.

    • This way, we can make adjustments to each layer separately, including Parameter adjustments.

  • You can also adjust the Template’s Parameters which will give you endless creative options for your creative abilities.

  • Remember: Have fun!
